Valentine's Day is coming right around the corner! Whether you are looking for a gift idea or wanting to have a fun Valentine date night at home, I recommend looking into Winc. I have mentioned Winc before and it was so fun to order from them again!

I have tried a few different brands and types of wines, but finding what I like can be difficult. Winc is not your traditional wine club: they are a direct-distribution global wine company that personalizes the entire wine experience. They are perfecting how wine is made, distributed, perceived, and purchased. I have never been a sweet wine drinker. That's what I love about Winc. They personalize your wines based on your tastes called the Palate Profile quiz. They ask you questions like, "How do you like your coffee?", "How do you feel about salt?", "Do you like citrus?", etc. It then will recommend wines based on your profile, but you can then select different ones if you'd like.

The ones selected for me by Winc were perfect and fit my taste profile perfectly. The last time I ordered I ended up adding an extra bottle to my cart and it was a little too sweet for my taste. This just goes to show that they have taken the guesswork out of picking a bottle of wine. But if you want, you can also hand select your own wines too. They still recommend the wines you like and even some more that you might like as well.

Winc has not only created a better experience for their consumers, created a platform for artisanal winemaking, and built a grape-to-glass supply chain that's sustainable for the planet, but there is no more intimidating language or steep price points which creates more joy in the act of sharing a bottle. On that note, Winc has opportunities to gift a subscription.

I have worked with Winc before, but I also like it so much I decided to get my own box as well! I like that you can skip a month or you can cancel your account altogether if you for some reason are no longer in need or want their service. I also like that you can purchase your subscription through PayPal. I don't know why I like this so much, maybe the added security or the fact that's where all my "fun" money is kept. tee hee

I personally think Winc makes a great birthday, anniversary, or even Mother's Day gift. I included it my guide last year as well as my Holiday Gift Guide too.
