The Attic Hubby recently took our two older kids to a Media Event at Maize Quest Fun Park in New Park, PA. They generously gave him Buy The Farm tickets to experience all of the family activities. Here is this dad's review:
Maize Quest is about an hour's drive from Baltimore and 30 minutes south of York, PA so it's a great day trip if you live in Maryland or Pennsylvania.
They have over 30 attractions including corn mazes, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, and a pick-your-own orchard (blueberries, cherries, apples, peaches) and market at Maple Lawn Farms.
They have activities for various age ranges with the highlight for my teenager being the large corn maze. The corn maze adventure begins in the main barn area to watch a dramatic instructional video prepping you for your winding adventure through the cornfield as a Secret Agent. Their current video is Austin Powers / Dr. Evil themed.
We started with about 5 other families at the same time entering the maze. Within moments we were already separated from those other families because there are so many options to choose and the size of the maze is enormous. The maze is separated by color quadrants. You start in the blue section, find your way to the red section, which leads to the white section, and you end in the green section.
